I like the big interactions and ease of use

Love the ease of syncing the calendar from my email. However, I wish that it would interface with Apple’s Calendar.

Have been using this calendar since last year and has worked great! But recently when opening this app, it will quickly crash within seconds and takes me back to my home screen. When the app is open, I can scroll down maybe once, it will freeze, then crash. I rely on this app for my work schedule and it would be a real pain to have to open the calendar through a browser. If you arent already, PLEASE look into this!!!

Ever since the update a few days ago, the calendar just closes without warning and if you click on a date to add something, it shuts down on you.

I *never* take the time to leave app reviews, but come on, Google! You guys are better than this. This app is barely functional—it freezes constantly and force-quits nearly every time you try to edit an event. Need to create a new event and add people? Forget it. I literally will just go open my laptop anytime I need to make a new meeting with other attendees, because the app crawls, freezes and force-quits EVERY time. Let the record show that I’m a big fan of the other Google apps—Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides—and they are a life saver when you need to access docs on your phone. That said, this app needs work. Its functionality is a disgrace to the Google brand.

The app freezes instantly upon opening. I have the most updated iOS as well as the most updated version of google calendar. My phone is on the older side (6s plus), but haven’t had issues like this with any other app. Please fix this bug! The app is unusable.

Takes forever to load and more then half the time force quits on me. Also, if I do get to the point where it lets me write a new event it will often force quit when I try to save. On top of all that, it erases half my events after theyve taken place!! As a person recovering from a TBI I use my calendar to keep track of what Ive done as much as what Im doing - and also where those events were located. These failures just dont work for me. What the heck happened, Google?

After you create and save an event, you cannot change which calendar it is on. Compete non-starter! Does not deserve a rating while missing such a basic, fundamental feature.

Too many bugs. I have been using desktop browser to make changes to calendar because the app keeps freezing and crashing.

I have lived in this app for years. I use Google for all of my productivity tools at work and personally. Google Calendar is perhaps the most important of all of these. I have never liked the native calendar apps which come with Mac OS or iOS and have exclusively used google calendar web app on desktop and google calendar iOS app on my iPhone. I interact with Google Calendar hundreds of times each day. For a couple of months, the iOS app has had horrendous performance issues. It lags several seconds sometimes when trying to edit an event, change its title, location, etc. I very often cannot complete a task. This is frustrating and actually causes major issues for my business. I have driven myself mad trying to fix it. I have completely reinstalled my phone twice. I have deleted and reinstalled the app countless times. I have played with and reset all settings. Etc. Today I saw there was a new update promising performance improvements but it is still laggy. Guys, please fix this. I am using an iPhone 6 on iOS 11.2.6. I am generally up to date and have experienced issues since Jan 2018.

The Google Calendar app has ALL of my calendar details; however, the app performs below my expectations. The app is slow. The app often freezes for seconds. The app does not progress well from day to day activities. I am constantly re-evaluating if this app is right for me and my busy schedule. More often than not, I am frustrated and would not recommend for others to use. If there was a better mousetrap, I would leave.

Its ok for viewing your Google calendars and adding events. What doesnt work is you cant change the calendar an event is in. I find I have to frequently open Apple iCal app to move events to their correct calendar. Or I could delete the event and recreate it but when you enter a lot of information in the event its a hassle to readd all that.

I’ve been using this app for years and have loved it, but over the last few months, I can’t do ANYTHING without the app freezing and deciding to change what year I’m in. All I do is look at what’s on the calendar, I don’t add events or move things. It’s immensely frustrating as I use this app for work. C’mon google! Make this a priority!

I have this app on my android phone and it works great. The iPad version used to work great until recently. I had hoped the bug fix update I downloaded today would fix the issues, but now it just crashes faster! PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!!! I want to love it again

This has been the perfect iPad app until the most recent update. Now when I open it, it flashes on the screen momentarily and then closes. I hope that help is on the way! After Friday’s update that kept blacking out, I finally figured out that after I made 1 new entry in the calendar, it was okay. Today is Tuesday and there’s an update. I ran the update. The calendar is back to blacking out again as soon as it finishes drawing. I have tried to make a new entry to see if that will cure the problem again but the app blacks out on my ipad when it comes time to fill in the new entry fields. Oh, gee, this has been the most perfect wonderful app until now. I sure hope that it can to be that way again! And soon!

I can’t believe that the biggest tech company in the world has created such a piece of junk. Every update is worse than the last. Extremely buggy. If you scroll to fast the app freezes and then crashes. Unreliable at best.

App was lagging so much I had to uninstall it, for the sake of my own sanity.

I’m using this on an iPhone X. I am a frequent daily user of google calendar so this app is crucial in my life. Please fix this!!!!!! And I will change my review

The loading is so slow!!!

This app does NOT work on iPad - as in the only reliable thing it does is crash. Use on your iPhone only! Help Google!
