Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

As an app to keep track of every appointment and reminder it works flawlessly. Its also very nice to look at it with lots of color and pictures. The only thing it lacks that would make it a 5 star app for me is the capacity to determine when its time to leave based on traffic and my gps position.

This most recent update force closes upon opening!!! Please fix!!!

I am completely flummoxed as to how this app can be offered at its current functionality. It is essentially useless, unable to handle the slightest task without locking.

I used to love this app until the most recent update. Now every time I try to add something to the calendar it quits. Makes the app pretty useless!

I have to say, this app makes my life so much easier. I sync my calendar with my mom, sister, school, and boyfriend (promise I am not a control freak). While I love the app and have been using it for probably two years now, there has been a bug on both my iPad and iPhone for the past two weeks. Thought it would’ve been fixed by now. As long as the bug is fixed, I would give this app a 5/5 stars.

I’ve been using google calendar for several years now with no issues until the update in early 2018. Now adding an event, inviting others and more edits makes this app very challenging to navigate because of the slow response time and ghost images of text. I love most of google’s products and want to keep using calendar, but if the bugs aren’t fixed soon, I’ll have to find a new calendar app that allows me to share events with family members.

I keep having to delete and reinstall the app because it freezes/crashes. A reinstall seems to fix it for awhile, but it eventually starts eating pavement again. Still my favorite calendar that I’ve used, but come on Google. You’re one of the biggest tech companies in the world. Fix this.

This app is pretty bad. It takes forever to load when I open it, and that’s if it even loads. Most of the time it doesn’t and then when I swipe to go to a particular day, it freezes up and then goes crazy going backwards through the years. It’s gone back to like 1980something before. It’s crazy. Super frustrating!

When you enter events from the phone, it often puts them on a different date than you selected. I have taken to emailing myself new appointments so I can input them later on desktop and confirm that they get registered for the correct time.

After the update last week the app crashes on open on my iPhone 7 Plus. Before the update the app worked perfectly. I’m constantly checking iTunes for an update.?

I like using this but lately it has been freezing. I open it and try to swap between months and I have to close it and reopen, sometimes twice It just happened as I’m creating an event in my calendar. It’s really frustrating and there isn’t a way to reach the developers to let them know there is an issue somewhere. I just hope this review is seen and someone does something about it.

Currently can’t use the app. It crashes every time I open it. Please fix.

Not any better than my old calendar app, though it may have even been worse

The app doesn’t have all the same options that the desktop app does. I was very happy when the desktop app added “Duplicate”. It made adding events that were basically the same but on different days easier to do. This is still not available on the iPhone app. I haven’t found a iPhone app that will do that. I guess I will have to wait a while longer and continue to do that work on my desktop computer.

Just got an email from google to my gmail account nagging me to install this app. No way to reply or opt out. Can’t complain there so I will do it here. INAPPROPRIATE AND UNWANTED!!!!!

I would Highly recommend that everyone use this as there own calendar app. It is seriously the best calendar app that I have ever tried.

I’m was constantly on GCal- but lately it’s slower, crashing all the time- it’s starting to get frustrating. Until it’s fixed- I’ll use Apple cal since they sync. I’d rather the interface of Google Cal, but- someone has to fix it!

The app will not even stay open long enough to make appointments. My OS is up to date and all recent updates have been applied. It’s just a faulty app. Don’t bother downloading it.

The the last few months, the Google Calendar app has been super buggy. Doing simple things like creating a new event or scrolling from one month to the next make the app either crash or freeze. It’s extremely frustrating.

I am unable to add anything to my calendar or view/edit event details as it freezes upon opening. Sadly, this is the calendar that my job uses to schedule everything. It used to work fine on my Samsung, switched to iPhone 7 Plus and shortly afterwards the app started freezing. Please fix as I am one of those “if it’s not on my calendar-it doesn’t exist” kind of people. I update every time an update is available. I really need the functionality back.
