Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

The app is great, I would appreciate if there was an updated number of the day of the month on the app icon

This app used to work cleanly and efficiently. Now it won’t load without completely freezing or crashing outright.

Why does the app have a 31 on the icon? Make it change so it shows the correct day of the month. Come on, people! The older version had this and was very useful!

Update: as of March 16th, this app still lags, even after their recent update this week. I have waited months now for this to be fixed, but still no resolution. I love this calendar, but I’m on the verge of dumping it and finding something else. Please fix the lag, it makes this calendar unusable. *********************** This app used to be awesome, but lately it’s annoying to use. Any time I create a new event it freezes. So creating a calendar event become a 5 minutes task. I also noticed events were deleted that I never deleted, so I have some concerns with my calendar not being accurate. The deletions were for recurring items only. So maybe something to do with that feature. Please fixd the freezing because I really prefer this calendar to the iPhone calendar.

App was never correctly updated for iOS 11. Turned off access to local calendar and contacts so I could actually use the calendar.

This app worked perfectly fine before but with the last couple months, the app chugs and holds to a stand still when I open it. I have an iPhone 8 so this should not be a “old phone” problem. Fix it!

I need this app to get fixed! I have a lot of appointments everyday and maybe that’s what does it. I also have lots of calendars on it but I need it fixed please!!! When I open the app it closes immediately. I have a IPhone X that works perfectly with ever other app. I’ve tried everything including restarting my phone after closing all apps. I’ve even deleted the app and downloaded it again. It still does the same thing. Please, it’s my most used app. I’m a Business paying customer to google. I need this app!

I just deleted and re-installed the Google Calendar for IPad app and it seems to be back to being the perfect wonderful app. Much better. This has been the perfect iPad app until the most recent update. Now when I open it, it flashes on the screen momentarily and then closes. I hope that help is on the way! After Friday’s update that kept blacking out, I finally figured out that after I made 1 new entry in the calendar, it was okay. Today is Tuesday and there’s an update. I ran the update. The calendar is back to blacking out again as soon as it finishes drawing. I have tried to make a new entry to see if that will cure the problem again but the app blacks out on my ipad when it comes time to fill in the new entry fields. Oh, gee, this has been the most perfect wonderful app until now. I sure hope that it can to be that way again! And soon!

I love this app, but it has been hanging a lot lately. Whats going on?

The app has been freezing a lot and it’s been this way for a while now. Quite annoying when I open the app to add or check something and it freezes my phone too. I do prefer this app since Google calendar is my main calendar, and I’ve found updates between web and phone far quicker than iCal.

This app has gone from 4-5 stars to 1 star. It has started crashing when viewing busy days and the last two updates have not fixed it. I need to fine another app to view my google calendar; that is really sad.

iPad 4th gen, iOS 10.3.3. Installed last week and calendar crashes right after startup. It seems to initialize first, then craps out. Worked relatively well before this.

If you use the Google platform, this is a must have. Unfortunately, it lacks some basic features that are common in the desktop web version. For example, you can change what Calendar an event is assigned to after you create the event. Nor can you make a copy of the event.

This app was great until the most recent update. Now it crashes two seconds after opening. Every time.

One question—Why can your app icon not just display the actual date??

I used to loveeee this app! I am a nursing student, I work part time and per diem, and i have a very busy social life as well. An organized calendar is essential for my world. And when I first downloaded this app it worked so great being able to connect it with my online account too. But the past few updates keep saying that its for “bug fixes” but for the past few weeks now, every time i open the app, its freezes for a few seconds and shuts down completely. I can’t even check my schedule to see whats coming up because it shut downs so quickly. And its absolutely frustrating. I did not want to write a bad review because, like I said, this app was a life savor before, but now I cant stand it. I was hoping to contact someone regarding the app but there is not contact information so writing this review is the closest I can get to it. So hopefully one of the developers or anyone working on this app cam read these bad reviews and hopefully fix the problems ASAP! Thanks.

Keeps closing every time I open it , always crashing

I don’t know what’s happening with the dev team for this app, but it’s legitimately unusable. Constantly freezes / crashes.

It really bothers me that the app icon doesn’t show what day it is
