Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

Not sure why the bad reviews because I love it. Syncs right with the windows 10 calendar. Cute pictures for some of the tasks (dentist,haircut) Only wish I could add a picture like for birthdays.

App works great on my iPhone. No problem and i love it. I use it to manage my whole life!! On the iPad, it barely opens, barely functions and takes forever to respond to almost any action. Please fix... i love my google calendar!!

Not sure what happened with this app but on both iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X it constantly freezes and doesnt let you do anything. Force quitting and restarting doesnt help at all so Ive been using the native calendar app more because this is so unusable

I would love this calendar to work but it is impossible to change anything! I can’t even go back to look at previous days without it freezing and closing... I thought Google was better... obviously not.

App keeps crashing

This app is slow moving and force closes way too often. Deleting this app ASAP

Lately the app lags a lot on my iPhone 6S. I can’t scroll through the calendar 70% of the time when using the app. My updates through the app may or may not stick. It also freezes up. I used to love this app. My family loves the ability to share our Google Calendars and update them on the go, but I am going to have to start looking for an alternative.

I utilize multiple calendars - representing my schedule, my wife’s schedule and more. Google calendar as seen on a browser shows all of the calendars, as does the Apple calendar app. The Google calendar app is missing some calendars and some appear with the same name (what’s up with that). This is a major flaw.

I downloaded it...loved it...but as soon as I found out that it’s not compatible with Apple Watch I deleted it. How disappointing.

I love this calendar because it allows me to see in words what my events are. I just wish it would allow me to create an event and then be able to keep it as a favorite and just tap on a day and add it to that day. I dislike having to go In each day and add my work schedule. It would be so much easier if I could create it once and then just tap on the days that I work and it add it in automatically. Maybe there is a way and I’m just missing it. Any suggestions ?

Did the app just update because starting 3/30 gCalendar does nothing except crash over and over again. Please fix this!

I have been using google calendar as my main scheduler for years. I absolutely loved it...until this year, when suddenly it started acting weird. First, it was glitchy and wouldn’t really save every event. Then, in February it began uninstalling itself several times a day, and when it WAS there, there would be the little cloud icon next to it, and if I touched the app to open, it would look like it was updating and take a minimum of ten minutes to even open. Awkward when you’re standing after a meeting scheduling the next one and you actually can’t... After that, it went from bad to worse. Obviously, I checked all my settings to see why it was “offloading” that app, and it actually showed that feature as turned off - it was just doing it on its own. Then, I deleted and re-downloaded the app, hoping it would make things better. It didn’t. Now, I didn’t even have the icon for the app, but when I go to the App Store, I can’t download t again because it says it’s already on my phone...which it isn’t. I’m so sad and frustrated! I have loved this app for years, used it multiple times daily...now, I have to start from scratch and re-imagine my own calendar with a different app and it’s kind of a nightmare.

This app crashed every time I try to use it. It is totally unusable.

Has gotten extremely buggy for me recently. The app stutters a lot and sometimes, when I try to add a new event it crashes

Would love if google could have the front face of the app icon to show the current day versus always 31. I don’t know how many times I need to see what the current day is and the app shows 31 on the front.

This app suffers from massive performance issues every time I open it. It’s soooooo slow

I have an iPhone X and literally every time I try to launch this app it freezes and crashes. Not a one time thing, has done it since I got this phone several months ago. Not sure what the issue is.

I used this love this app and it was easy to set up my family calendar. Now it’s so time consuming to set up an event that is held once a week and color code it. Why???? Why did you have to change it???

If this app showed the date on the icon like the Apple calendar it would be perfect. When glancing at it everyday is the 31st. Annoying. I see no where in the settings to set it up to display they current date like the Apple calendar does.

For starters the icon always says it’s the 31st. Other calendar apps show the actual date on the icon. Lame Then to create an event I first have to click the + then I have to click event, then I have to choose the date and time.... way too much clicking. Other calendars let me press the day and time and it creates a window in which to set my event, much like google calendar does in chrome on my desktop. Make this app as good as the chrome desktop version and I’ll love it.
