Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

Update didn’t help. Still crashes within seconds of opening. Really wish I could use this

Previously, I used this app to schedule events with my business. It doesn’t even open on my phone anymore. Very inconvenient to use the desktop version. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Very frustrating to have used Calendar since it’s rollout, only to now find that it is very unstable. It crashes repeatedly and so quickly that I don’t have time to send feedback to Google. Time to sever the cord and find a more stable calendar app.

Started a few days ago. I start app and it crashes after a few seconds. IPAD Pro 9.7. Was hoping that latest version update would fix it but no luck...

I cannot open the menu on the top left corner for the life of me!!! It is the most annoying thing because i really enjoyed and was excited with the interface and then as i was playing around with it realized I couldnt revert back to it. >.< the menu keeps appearing for a second and disappearing. So frustrating.

Im a huge fan of Google products. However, Google calendar inexplicably had my days scheduled wall to wall with unfamiliar events that could have only been populated from my spam folder. Maybe I pressed "accept" at some point without reading? Altogether useless.

It keeps crashing all the time. Whenever i use it, i prepared myself to reopening it over n over again!

This is the only calendar app Ive used that has never had sync issues. Sync issues are catastrophic for my careers integrity and this app never lets me down. It allows you to enter the street address and easily invite others to your appointments. We run our business off of this app. No problems! My favorite part? When I tap an address on the calendar to map it, it actually asks me which navigation app I wish to use. Googles willingness to let me use something other than google maps is freakin awesome. Apple should take note that a loose grip on stuff can make people happy. If you love something, set it free!

This app used to work well. But recently it crashes every time I open it, and is no longer usable.

Oh, how I loved the Google Calendar app... until recently when some update has caused it to freeze upon launch for *minutes* before it responds again. Seems like its trying to cache lots of data on launch instead of lazy-load it when requested. (Pro tip, developers: those dots showing days containing events on the Month view are really not that helpful. Id be fine if they werent shown at all.)

When will google show what the date is on the app like iCal. It’s nice to know what the date is without loading the app. Thanks

From my home screen on my old calendar it would have the actual day number like todays the 13th, so at a quick glance youd know which day it is. Google calendar says 31?????!!!?? That tells me nothing and I have to go into the app to see. Not good Google, not good.

Biggest issue is that the App icon needs to have current date. It is stuck on 31 so I cannot reference that for current date. My old google calendar has that. Has taken me awhile to figure out how to navigate this app.

I will not use this app until the display shows today’s date.

Its great that everything syncs but the app continuously crashes. All the features go to waste if a user cant open the application. This became a recent issue and has only gotten worse. Powered down phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the problem continues to happen. Lowered rating from 2 to 1-star. App keeps crashing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Unfortunately there isn’t many calendar apps to replace this one.

Last several updates having been causing more and more problems. App has been freezing, crashing, and/or really slow. Hopefully it’s not a phone issue.

I never leave reviews but this app is the most laggy, piece of junk app I’ve ever used that I felt compelled to write a review! This used to be a good app but that’s no longer the case. 99% of the time it’s impossible to simply look at your schedule for the day in this app. Just trying to scroll causes it to freeze to the point I have to close out of the app completely. That being said, don’t even bother trying to create or edit an event! My boss uses Google calendar & as a busy local official, I’m constantly having to access/edit his calendar & this app makes it next to impossible. It’s sad that it’s actually easier & less of a hassle to login in to my account via Safari & view, create & edit items that way. Google does so many things right, why is this such a total fail??!!

Why does the app always say “31” ? Do you not see how convenient it would be for the date on the app to be the actual date?

This app used to sync to Facebook and Eventbrite but no longer does - please bring that functionality back!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review on an app but this one is absolutely useless. So much lag and screen freezing.
