Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

So slow and clunky. It’s basically unusable.

I’ve been having this issue for a couple of weeks now. Opening the app, freezing. Slow moving parts and cannot switch between months making it very difficult to check events or even add any entries! Please fix these bugs!

And it’s been crap for over a month now. It’s so slow and unstable it’s unusable. What’s the big deal? Fix it already.

I just came here to say one thing. It would be really sweet if they changed the app icon to display the current date. Not all of us prefer to live everyday of our lives on the 31st. I mean really any other number might make me happy too. I think even seeing the 31st everyday makes me not want to open the app. Strange. Otherwise pretty nice calendar.

Used to be a 5 star app, but now has an amazing amount of lag. Worst instances are upon startup, selecting either place or inviting people to events. In these instances the app essentially freezes up. Not sure if it’s just an issue with the app or iOS 11, which is a bit of a dumpster fire from a lag standpoint ****Update***** Every update seems to make it worse. The lag and freezes became too much so I had to try uninstall it. It’s a beautiful app that would be my favorite to use on iOS, but the poor performance makes it unusable.

Instead of “31”, have the present day shown on the app icon.

Why am I being charged a monthly fee for this app??

The icon needs to show the current day for quick view. It is now giving me trouble with syncing to google home. Google home no longer finds all my calendar entries for the day I believe since the update.

Please add the tasks feature to the iPhone app. Cross-compatible with the desktop. I haven’t had any unbearable crashes or bugs. Just don’t know why the feature still hasn’t been added.

Useless! The app crashes every time I open it!

Update - After I downloaded version 2.34.0, I uninstalled and re-installed the new version. Functionality appears to have returned. I hope it stays this way. I am tired of cringing every time I touch the app. Kudos to you Google. Thank you for bringing GC back to life. Third party apps work better with my Google Calendar entries than this app. I’m surprised that this GC is so dysfunctional for months now. I have updated my iOS whenever possible, updated the GC app when fixes are available. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it keeps freezing and crashing. Is Google doing this on purpose? I can’t believe it isn’t fixed yet and third party calendar apps handle the functionality better.

Small fonts and cant compete with Apple

Since the last update the calendar app crashes all he time. I have done everything to try to fix it but it seems to be in the app. Please fix. I’m being force to use the native apple app which I don’t find as useful.

App closes only seconds after being opened.

Keeps crashing on my iPhone. Tried turning off and on the phone to no avail.

Nothing wrong with it but what’s the point? Our phones already include the calendar app. It has a much nicer interface and this is pointless.

Until it started crashing. I heavily rely on this calendar for productivity and it keeps on crashing. Beyond frustrating!

The app runs terribly constantly. When I try to add guests to an event it gets impossibly slow - keyboard keys take several seconds to register, “done” button takes 5 seconds to activate. Also the ability to force touch the keyboard to move he cursor is broken. This is the only app that happens in. This app is such a disappointment.

I used to love the Google calendar app; however, in the past month or two, it crashes constantly. It’s next to impossible to add an appointment or even just to look at the calendar on the phone before it crashes. Please Google app developer, fix this app ASAP! Thank you.

App is good when it works but often freezes making it unusable.
