Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

Used to be able to view monthly version of calendar with events typed in. Now monthly has dots and I have to click on a date to view event. I might as well use Apple calendar.

Overall I like the app, but I wish I could choose which calendar I want when I create an event.

Works on iPad but cant view landscape. Doesnt look good at higher resolution.

This could be a great app if Google allowed an option to disable their automatic images/maps. The images make the calendar entry hard to read and destroy the color coding so you cant tell which calendar the item is on. If they would just GIVE US THE OPTION many of us would turn off the images and we would like the app better. Until then, 1 star. There are many requests for this on boards all over the Internet but Google seems to ignore our request. Much longer and Ill look for another app and delete this one.

Much better than the calendar that comes with iPhones. Its nice to see just events for the future as opposed to each individual day, which is an option as well. Good app

Similar to the native iPhone calendar app, it would be very helpful if the google calendar app displayed todays date on the home screen.

Please add Apple Watch complications and glances.

Colors are amazing! Ideas are great!! Just need a few more fixes ;) PLEASE have past event fade in color. Also, make sure we can add an event while choosing which calendar we want. Thanks!!!

Update: again, still just "meh". Very meh. Pretty interface does not means its a good one or easy-to-use. Isnt the quickest in terms of quick look at the schedule. Needs a "Month" view, one that can quickly clue you into days that are free or not. Not that pull down crud. No view options are really useful. Pretty yes. Functional not so much Still no reason to use it as every other option (Week Cal, Apples, Outlooks) is better and easier/quicker. Nice to have "To-Do" additions, but not that "innovative". UI needs work. Google look does not mean better in this case. Previous: Update did not improve it. Week view is embarrassingly bad since it cuts off everything. Still no reason to use it. Old review (still valid): Glad that there is a Google Calendar app, but as is ill never use it. No functional month view. Huge UI, so nothing compact for easily looking at bigger time spans. And I really dont like the UI anyway. "Pretty" but ugly. Too much wasted space and use of real estate. There are better calendars out there that work fine with Google so why even use this? I wont.

I can no longer access my calendar a month at a time. Now I must find another source.

I hoped that the update would do something about the crashing, but it is still awful. Every time I try to look at different calendars on my account, or when I tap to open events, it crashes. Im disappointed.

When will we get an app icon that displays the correct date and not just 31, which is wrong 358 days out of the year?!?!

Pretty good calendar pleasing to the eye

Nicely designed and easy to use! Love all the illustrations Google crafts for Its calendar, drives me to create "Goals" more often, just to see whats inside! And once youre there, youll be amazed by how quick and intuitive it is to create complicated tasks and goals! For me, this is a killer feature that will stick me for a long time!

numerous people complaining and a long time, Google still refuses to allow colored dots on month to indicate you have an event upcoming weeks away. Nope not on the apple app! its your own calendar but you must do a detailed search to see important upcoming events!

Google calendar really helps me keep track of all my appointments and is very easy to use. I love how I can join video meetings directly from the calendar notifications!

I cannot rely on the Google Calendar app to be as dependable as the PC desktop version. Theres no reason why, for example, the calendar app cant have access to my online contacts and other saved email addresses to invite when making a new event. The app also doesnt seem to notify invitees when events are changed. Or, at least, it does not give me the same indications as the PC version that invited guests are notified. In summary, this is not useful when Ive become dependent on the PC version.

I am bummed that Google hasnt added a detailed month view to this app yet. I think its a decent calendar app but iphones have larger screen sizes now and there is no reason calendar apps cant have a detailed month view. Please :-)

Ive enjoyed the ability to view, at a quick glance, all my calendars in one place.
