Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

I use Google apps on IOS devices and for the most part they function well. Well, Google Calendar iOS app is the exception. My Google Calendar on my Windows laptop works perfectly. I could go back four years and all the old events are there. However, on the Google Calendar iOS app I can only see one years worth of events.

Since update, app crashes every time. Fix this. Still crashing.

This used to be reliable and error free app. But now it crashes so often and app is slow to load. I rely on google calendar heavily and I don’t want to open browser on my phone.

Everything was fine a few updates ago...now, it wont stay open and if it does there is a HORRIBLE lag when trying to scroll through your calendar. If it isnt fixed soon I will have to switch over to my Apple Calendar.

Not sure what has changed with the app, but it hangs up, stutters along, and at times become non-responsive. To use it, I have to be willing to sit and wait while it “freezes” for an unknown amount of time to catch up. This happens even with scrolling. Can not scroll smoothly from day-to-day. It’s become a real frustration to use this calendar app, which is a shame because I love google calendar desktop and want to calendar app to smoothly sync with it. I will now rely on another app version of a calendar until or if this google calendar is fixed and working better.

I cannot even use this app anymore. I rely heavily on it for my scheduling. It crashes 10 seconds into opening it. Won’t scroll and just resets. please....fix this issue

Loads slowly and there is so much lag that Im often not sure if the app is even working or completely frozen up. Nothing else is anywhere this slow on my iPad (Air 2). A calendar app shouldnt be very demanding on resources, so I dont get why it runs like garbage. At this point, its pretty much useless on my iPad, so I usually just do all my calendar work on my ancient Android Phone (Nexus 5), where it runs perfectly.

Not with the watch

Let us have a choice of the (old) Classic Google Calendar or new one. Old one worked fine and I didn’t have to double tap for everything. Looking for a new calendar soon.

The sluggishness, freezing and crashing make this app worthless.

I’m loving this app and am using it with family members, business associates and friends. I wish that it would text reminders. Today I realized that if I have to change a single entry for a reoccurring event that I can’t change just one date, it changes them all. (I may be missing something). Other then that I’m very happy.

Most recent update will not remain open on my iPhone 8. Please fix.

App closes after a few seconds. Not usable on iPad. Please fix!

Major bummer if you have an Apple Watch. I can’t use the app because of this. :-(

Used to be amazing, but now making any changes to an event leads to huge slowdowns and crashes

The app is consistently crashing on my end.

Not sure which update started the problems but the app is terribly buggy as of late. Each update I hope it gets better but then it gets worse. Slow loading, laggy when scrolling and if you move around too quickly it just crashes.

Needs the ‘agenda view’ available in the Apple calendar. That way I can see the whole month and any events I have going on today.

Not good for an iPhone 7 screen. Selection of background colors for events are silly, fancy colors that add nothing. Drowns out the black font making it hard to read in month mode. No way to complete events while the month progresses. Jorte a much better calendar.

This app freezes on a regular basis. I’ve been keeping an eye out for updates that fix this but I have yet to see one. Even after quitting the app it still is frozen on the same page.
