Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

I love this app, however recently it was updating and wouldn’t load, so I deleted it and redownloaded it, and now the app store says that I have it and i can open it from there, but it’s not on my phone.

The new update has been OK, but overall this is an essential app. I manage 10 peoples’ schedules on this, and I’m always looking for a better one, but it doesn’t exist. It’s sometimes a little glitchy (the Save button doesn’t work this week), but the developer seems to fix problems within a couple of weeks. They are too big to respond to inquiries, so don’t bother.

Does not work. It is taking too long to sync with exchange and then crashes.

This was my go to calendar app. Now I’m having an issue where when I try to enter an appointment on my iPad Pro 10.5 inch, when I try to enter something in the notes section, the keyboard pops up halfway up the screen which I can’t get back down and I can’t type anything, so I just randomly hit the keyboard and it’ll finally drop to the bottom of the screen , then I try to type something again and again the keyboard pops up halfway up the screen. I have to do that about three or four times before the keyboard finally stays at the bottom of the screen and allows me to type something. If that can be fixed I’d be happy but it hasn’t been rectified in the last few updates.

Recent updates have rendered what was a helpful app useless. The app simply crashes every time it’s opened.

It would’ve been Five stars for a very functional Google Calendar. It’s three stars though for Google’s poor documentation and lack of knowledge of their products. I use Google apps on IOS devices and for the most part they function well. My Google Calendar on my Windows laptop works perfectly. I could go back four years and all the old events are there. However on the Google Calendar iOS app I could only see 12 months worth of events. After enabling the native iOS Calendar and playing with the settings I could see events older than 12 months. The Google Calendar is dependent on the native iOS Calendar for events older than 12 months. Here’s Google’s response to my query before I figured it out: “Welcome to the Google Calendar Help Forum. As of now, the Google Calendar app can only sync events created in the past 12 months and the events remain forever in the Google Calendar web version. This is an intended behavior in Google Calendar app. Id appreciate your feedback in this regards. Please feel free to share the feedback by following these steps: On your iPhone or iPad, open the Calendar app . In the top left, tap Menu Send feedback. Write your feedback and tap Send . In your feedback, try to share as much detail as possible about the suggestion. Let me know if you have any other questions”

This app used to work very well. For the last few months however I can barely get the app to scroll to the next weeks or months without it kicking me off the app completely. And no way am I able to add anything to the calendar anymore- it sits there and thinks forever and THEN it kicks me off. FIX THIS. It used to be so convenient. Now it’s just a pain in the butt so it never gets used.

Calendar works and functions properly. Love the visuals. Misses on simple features that would bring much value such as being able to share an event as a link (aka text messaging a link invitation)

I have found this calendar the easiest to use so far... I don’t want to take 5 minutes every time I need to add an appointment to my calendar so thank you... however, I think Google has missed a big opportunity in giving us a date in the app with out opening it... this forces me to keep my iOS calendar upfront and center AND the google calendar next too it since I want to know the date without opening a bunch of apps.

This app was working great and I relied heavily on it to keep track of all of my assignments and plans. One day I opened it up to check what I had for the day and every last one of my events and reminders were gone. Would definitely not recommend!

Nearly every time I open this app it takes over 10 seconds to open. Then it won’t work anyway...I have to shut down my phone because the screen won’t work until I do. This is the only app this issue happens with. It would be awesome if it worked!

Good, easy to use and share but can’t see any edits made by people other than owner. Please fix!

This app is awful. It freezes all the time. Not usable.

The look is crisp and much easier to read than Apple calendar, but the Feb. update introduced major pauses when inviting contacts and random crashes.

Can we please get other shades of colors for the app events??? But Great app. One of my favorites. Love it

This app recently started to crash repeatedly on my older iPad (2012 vintage). Up until a recent update of this app, it was working okay. Now, however, its useless as it crashes every time I run it.

Ever since last week’s software update, the app repeatedly freezes and then kicks me out. What is the point of having a calendar app which cannot be accessed?!
