Freezes constantly

I am unable to add anything to my calendar or view/edit event details as it freezes upon opening. Sadly, this is the calendar that my job uses to schedule everything. It used to work fine on my Samsung, switched to iPhone 7 Plus and shortly afterwards the app started freezing. Please fix as I am one of those “if it’s not on my calendar-it doesn’t exist” kind of people. I update every time an update is available. I really need the functionality back.
