Used to be great

This was my go to calendar app. Now I’m having an issue where when I try to enter an appointment on my iPad Pro 10.5 inch, when I try to enter something in the notes section, the keyboard pops up halfway up the screen which I can’t get back down and I can’t type anything, so I just randomly hit the keyboard and it’ll finally drop to the bottom of the screen , then I try to type something again and again the keyboard pops up halfway up the screen. I have to do that about three or four times before the keyboard finally stays at the bottom of the screen and allows me to type something. If that can be fixed I’d be happy but it hasn’t been rectified in the last few updates.
