The new updated ruined it!
I have been using google calendar as my main scheduler for years. I absolutely loved it...until this year, when suddenly it started acting weird.
First, it was glitchy and wouldn’t really save every event.
Then, in February it began uninstalling itself several times a day, and when it WAS there, there would be the little cloud icon next to it, and if I touched the app to open, it would look like it was updating and take a minimum of ten minutes to even open. Awkward when you’re standing after a meeting scheduling the next one and you actually can’t...
After that, it went from bad to worse. Obviously, I checked all my settings to see why it was “offloading” that app, and it actually showed that feature as turned off - it was just doing it on its own. Then, I deleted and re-downloaded the app, hoping it would make things better. It didn’t. Now, I didn’t even have the icon for the app, but when I go to the App Store, I can’t download t again because it says it’s already on my phone...which it isn’t.
I’m so sad and frustrated! I have loved this app for years, used it multiple times daily...now, I have to start from scratch and re-imagine my own calendar with a different app and it’s kind of a nightmare.
