Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

This app continues to improve and mirror the Google Calendar desktop interface.

Loved the real time sync from Gmail and other apps so I can use both personal and professional work calendar at one!

Got a lot of great stuff but all the above reviews cover most of the need upgrades but no one has talked about the contacts problem. For example if I make a new contact in my phone it is a ICloud contact. Then go to calendar to make an appointment I dont wanna retype their name and their address. It says it syncs contacts but they are only the ones you have in your google account. You can import all your contacts into google ( which has proven to be pretty challenging ) but what do you do about the one new one you just put in and want to make an appointment with. Its like these developers dont use the app with the intended product because some of this stuff is pretty fast to identify

Why on earth can I not share my calendar with my phone? This app is often clumsy and confusing when it really shouldnt be.

All my events are ahead by one hour. Why?

My life is organized via Google calendar. Love the app, its replaced iOS calendar for me and is so much better. Favorite part is the pleasant reminder sounds (its the little things!). Please, please, please update the app so that the date numbers on the app icon show the current date! Would make it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Need to be able to change the calendar the event is added to after it is created. Need a widget to check whats coming up next.

Like the app, but a few small changes would really improve it: 1. Add a notification badge app icon to display the current day of the month 2. Add an option to remove pictures (like dinner plates when I add a dinner event) - these take up a lot of space on a small screen. 3. After selecting an event in schedule view (so that I can see all the details), the title of the event should be fully expanded (so that the details of long titles are all visible). Keep up the good work!

Works great, but these basic functions are on the iCal app, so why switch?

It would be nice if you could have a custom color picker for events so Im not stuck with the limited colors provided by the app. It would also be nice if you could upload your own photo for the event image. App also desperately needs a way to add tasks list

I use this app all day for work. Overall a great app but theres a few things that need to be improved that will drive any power user crazy. 1) if I have a calendar event open, go to a different app and then come back, the event closes and I end up having to open it again 2) if I need to text someone via a number listed as a note in an event, if I press and hold on the phone number I only get the option to call. If I tap the number, it calls. I cant even copy the phone number and paste into a text window without going into edit mode. This is a simple fix that would improve the experience. 3) ability to tap and hold an event to move it from day to day or slide earlier / later in a day like iCal is a feature that would improve the experience. With all the three points addressed, this wold receive 5 stars from me.

Please add the feature of iPhone widget!!!

For some reason, this app randomly drops notifications. I have all the notification options enabled in my settings, and I do receive most notifications, but it will sometimes drop crucial notifications for no reason and without warning.

Please fix glitches with the last update. I heavily rely on my calendar and since the last update mine keeps freezing. It also adds and deleting events. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled it and still have the same issue. Side note - This is the first time in 3 years Ive had an issue. Thank You :)

I have been unable to create repeat calendar events over the past 3 weeks without the app freezing. Please fix this glitch. I really like using this calendar but will need to switch if it is not updated this week. Also, I have tried to delete the app and reload but have lost past and recurrent (future) calendar entries. This is really frustrating!

I use Google Calendar over the standard calendar app for the iPhone. I like that you can keep your reminders and events in one place. However, in order to get notifications on my Apple Watch, I still have to use the standard calendar app, as well. It would be great if you could develop an app for the Apple Watch and widget for the iPhone.

Im a Google fan but this last update, along with missing features that other calendar apps have are making this pointless to keep.

It would be wonderful to see what the current date is on the app icon, as it does on the apple calendar.
