Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

Gave 1 star hoping to get Googles attention, but this app overall is 4 stars but for one change requested - PLEASE make it so that the app icon is actually helpful by displaying the current date (number) rather than the same static number every day. Apples calendar app does this and is helpful.

I love the app. It works just like on the computer. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the app icon is fixed on the number 31 and does not display the actual date. Please fix this!!

I dont know what happened with the new update, but now every time I do three actions (a tap, a swipe, whatever) the app freezes, breaks, and wont work until I force close it for a half hour or fully restart my phone. Its COMPLETELY unusable now.

Im so glad Google allows me to include my iCloud calendar!! I enter dates into my google calendar app and then I see them on my iPhone and Mac calendars in the cloud! That integration is so important. For some reason, the iPhone calendar is the only one in the apple ecosystem that they just messed up royally. No fixes. No attempts at making it what it once was since iOS 7/8. I wish Google had a desktop calendar app for Mac/Windows. But nothing official yet. I just cant keep logging into my emails to access it online. A desktop app would be better. But...as far as this iPhone app goes. It syncs beautifully with my iCloud calendar and it updates/syncs across all my apple devices that use iCloud/calendar immediately!!!

Ive been reporting bugs to the Google team for a year now, but they havent yet fixed them: The graphics associated with specific key words for calendar events are neat and help to break up the day, but they dont always trigger. In the schedule view that shows the graphics, the days with no events are outright skipped, so its more difficult to add events from my default screen. Adding events in, for example, day view, is too finicky. Ill press, press and hold, press and hold for longer, tap the time I want... sometimes it just doesnt recognize that I want to add an event, and its not consistent in which type of tap that triggers a new event. It alphabetizes time zones, rather than putting them into chronological order. This is literally one of the most unhelpful things anyone could do. The app name on the Home Screen is too long and automatically truncated, and reads "Google Cal..." (ellipses included). This is an eyesore and looks unprofessional.

- the calendar invites are not mine to send out to others. Something in googles backend "owns" the event - adding other people seems to be a personal reminder that theyre coming; theyre not invitees and because its not my event, I cannot add them. - the increments for moving events is weird - rescheduling goals kinda falls short. I lose a lot of goals in rearranging my calendar. If I reschedule a goal, it automatically moves my other goals. That is cool, but if it doesnt find a spot, it deletes for the week. Give me a chance to fit it in! - give me a dashboard for my goals - wait, I cant even move an event from the app - hold on, I cant even resize the event from the calendar

Probably, the most sleek and simple monthly calendar available for the iPhone. (If you could toggle off the juvenile graphics, that would help. Also, to my fellow end-users, the inability to have the icon show the current date is an Apple restriction not a Google oversight.)

The best monthly view on iPhone, no close second -- are you paying attention Apple and Outlook (MS). Not find of the overly-cutesie graphics though.

Runs incredibly slow on my iPhone 7+. Very unresponsive when doing anything in the app. Only app that does this.

I keep all my tee times, and food outings. I like the color coding.

I love this app! I have an iPhone and hubby is a hardcore android fan, google calendar made it available for both iPhone and android and it works great! Especially that we can syncing our calendars on both of our phones and get real time updates whenever things changes for one person or both. which makes juggling work, appointments and making time for date nights easier. Two thumbs up! ????

Love the app but Id love if it would mirror my Apple Watch. Yeah, and the 31 is annoying.

Im a busy human with tons of things going on at once. I also have to awesome soldiers under me. Its my job to make sure that Im always in time to everything and that Im tracking where my soldiers are. This app has literally been the driving force of my life for the past year.
