Google Calendar: Get Organized App Reviews

This app could be so much better, if Google would actually give half a crap. For one thing, its absolutely shameful that the app icon STILL doesnt reflect the current date -- iCal can even do that, FFS. The app is buggy AF, too. Most of the time I open it, it hangs, or it takes tens of seconds before it responds to any touch commands (and with this latest update, it crashes...awesome). Once youve created an event and saved it, you cant change which calendar it belongs to in edit mode; you can change its color, but not the calendar in which it appears. You cant copy events from one day to another. You cant differentiate visually between an all-day event and an event with a specific time while viewing your calendars in monthly mode. You cant enter a location that draws information from your contacts. You cant add it to your widgets. You cant. You cant. You cant. I want to like this app, but Google are making it impossible by not fixing obvious issues or adding common sense features. Until they do, Im switching to Readdles Calendars.

Does everything I need it to - great app!

The app is good, but I never use it because it is missing my favorite feature from the website, Tasks! Alternatively, add an option to add notes/descriptions to Reminders.

The great monthly view overcomes the awful juvenile graphics. And finally the app opens addresses in Google Maps! (To those who wonder about the date on the icon: thats an Apple restriction.)

Im disappointed that the icon does not display the date as the iPhone calendar app does. Otherwise a good app, but I still keep the iPhone calendar app docked at the bottom of my screen.

Thank you for finally adding a month view, rating went up but please add the today widget and it will be 5 stars. Also add the option to set the month view as the default view each time you open the app.

I came from an android phone so this was the easiest way for me to be used to using a calendar. I still like the calendar in iPhone but I miss having a widget. All of the other features work great but I would like the option to see my schedule without going into the app.

Looks sharp and works great, but only 4 stars because there is no widget for iPhone.

Why cant the current date show on the icon like the calendar that comes with the iPhone? Its always the 31st.

Helps me keep my conferences handy!!

Date on app does not change as apple calendar does. No widget and just not easy to use! Sorry but deleting.

I love how it imports events from FaceBook. I also put in the address for every event, which allows me to access google maps through the calendar event.

It takes a ton of clicks to change the time of your appointments. Theres no way anybody is rating this anything above a one star of the expect to change times efficiantly on their phone like in the native iOS app.

Everything else works fine, but itd be great to have the day dynamically update instead of the generic stock icon of 31.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE 5 STAR CALENDARS..... Although I do feel u should have the app have the day because u have the 31, but I feel u should have the date of that day, makes things much more easier!

Now that there is an iPad version, the only thing missing is iOS reminder integration.

Id love if the app icon had the current date as it pic instead of the stationary 31. Is there some way that feature could be added? It would be such a help for a quick check of the current date. Other features are great and I love being able to share schedules.
