It doesn’t load the current month’s appointments

I prefer keeping my Google Calendar on its Monthly View, because I like to have as much overview of my appointments as possible. The issue however is that I cannot see the current month - it keeps loading and loading and loading and no appointments are showing. If I swipe to the next or to the previous month it’s all loading immediately, but I can never load the current month’s appointments. It’s very frustrating. Please fix it. It wasn’t like this before. I love Google Calendar. I have an iPhone, but I don’t like their built-in calendar app and I would like to continue using the Google Calendar App... if it’s usable. Thanks!
