So close

I really want to love this app but can only like it. I am admittedly an iPhone user so known that google and Apple dont always play well together. I love my google account and use it for so many things but it baffles me why this app cannot display the date in the icon the way the default Apple calendar does.

I cannot give this app five stars until that is rectified. Such an easy fix to be the best calendar.
